First proto type – ready to receive compost

Originally built in 1875, this charming old building has had many refurbishments, the most notable being the addition of the second story in 1902.

In 2006 the building was purchased to provide a home for the then newly formed Mount Alexander Sustainability Group.

Extensive renovations have since been done to provide 15 comfortable offices and a restaurant.
